How to Test
TESTING PROCEDURE:
- Moisten
a piece of test paper with distilled
water
- Touch
stain with moist test paper for
one to two minutes
- Crush
both ampules; shake for about
one minute
- Remove
cap. Saturate the swab by
holding the applicator tube in
a downward position, then apply
the reagent to test paper (not
to original stain)
- The
presence of semen is indicated
by a purple color within a few
seconds
